E3 2014 Press Conferences Information

 

Nintendo's Digital Event

Nintendo will not hold a live press conference at E3 2014, opting instead to stream a "Digital Event" online.

The digital event will be live on Tuesday June 10 at 12pm ET  and will "reveal and provide further detail about the gaming experiences on the way for Nintendo platforms in 2014 and beyond."

In addition to the digital video, a Super Smash. Bros. Invitational Tournament is set to take place at the conference for top-ranked players that will be streamed online. Alongside this the "Nintendo Treehouse: Live @ E3" will stream in-depth game demos during all hours of the E3 show, hosted by the company's Product Department.

 

EA Press Conference Confirmed

EA has confirmed their E3 press conference will be held at the Shrine Auditorium on Monday, June 9 2014. The EA press conference will begin at 3 p.m. ET.

EA has also announced 6 new projects will be at E3 2014, one of which is a Frostbite Engine-based game planned for release in Q3 of 2014.

 

Microsoft Press Conference Details

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox E3 2014 media briefing will take place at 12:30 p.m. ET, June 9.

Major Nelson detailed the event on his blog and confirmed that the press conference is called Xbox: Game On; A 90 Min. E3 Press Conference Event. Microsoft is promising "everything from in-depth looks at previously announced games to trailers for our unannounced games coming in 2014 and beyond." And the company also has plans for other "fan-centric events" before and after the presser that it will announce at a later date. 

 

Sony Press Conference Details 

Sony has announced that the Sony E3 2014 media briefing will take place at 9 p.m. ET, June 9.

Sony's John Koller discussed this year's Sony conference, saying "there's a huge and significant amount of games coming this year to the PlayStation 4. We'll be showing a lot of those and it is going to be an exciting moment for many people. I can officially confirm that what is coming next is really spectacular ... games like Destiny, which is the game from Bungie that is really going to be a show piece as to what makes the PlayStation 4 so special."
